Hours and Tuition
2012-2013 School Year
Morning classes are held Tuesday through Friday, 8:45 to 11:15, September through May. An extended day option is available for all students with a start time of 8:15. The extra half hour allows for extended project work.
Afternoon classes are Tuesday through Friday, 12:15 to 2:45. An extended day is offered for four and five year olds, 12:15 to 3:45 and includes Spanish and Creative Movement.
Our base monthly tuition is $285. Our extended morning option is $340 per month. Our extended afternoon option is $395.
Alpha Club, a afternoon class for children attending morning kindergarten, meets Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 - 3:30. Monthly tuition is $345.

Additional Offerings
We offer two classes for two-year-olds! Classes are two days a week (Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday), 8:45 to 11:15. This class meets on the first floor in the sunny, cheerful church nursery. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please contact our school office for further information. This is a wonderful introduction to school and is just the right pace for the age group. There is a 1-4 ratio in this classroom - 12 students, a teacher and two assistant teachers. Tuition is $175 monthly.
We offer an afternoon class for children attending kindergarten mornings called Alpha Club. The class includes Spanish twice a week, Yoga, field trips, and much more! There are 12 children, a teacher and an assistant and meets Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 - 3:30. The tuition for the Alpha Club is $345 monthly.
Who’s hungry? First United offers Lunch Bunch, a class of ten children which meets from 11:15 - 1:15. Friends will share lunch together and enjoy extended playground and project time. Students can enroll for either two days a week (Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday or for all four days). Lunch Bunch registration forms can be downloaded from the Virtual Backpack or on the Enrollment page. The fee for the Lunch Bunch is $140 for two days or $280 for four days.

Registration for siblings of former students, church families and returning students are given priority until the date of the Open House. Registration opens to the public on the third Tuesday evening of January. The 7:30 PM Open House is designed for parents and begins with a full presentation of the program in Centennial Hall of First United Church. Following the formal presentation classroom tours will be conducted and registration forms accepted. Open spots are filled through a lottery system the morning following the Open House and families are notified by letter that week as to placement of their child.
Tuition Assistance
The Nursery School has a Tuition Assistance Fund, which is available to all families. Applications for assistance may be obtained from the school director. Decisions regarding assistance are made by the Finance Committee of the Nursery School board according to income guidelines.
